For the second picture: the left leg seems to be doing two things at once. The thigh, (which ought to be projecting more forward,) is seen from the side. The sole of the foot can be seen, however, which suggests that the shin, which is also seen from the side, should actually be projecting forward.

(If this doesn’t make sense, try wrapping contours around the thigh and shin to see what I mean. I think you just lost track of your perspective.)
